For our dance and cheer classes there will be no need to pre register, you can just come along to the session which suits you best. Teams require a tryout which can be arranged by emailing admin@rsd-danceandcheer.com. RSD Academy does require you to pre register. You can access the registration form from the Forms page of the web site.
Yes, we welcome new members at any time throughout the year.
No there is no joining fee.
We are unable to accommodate spectators within our classes. This is in order to stay in line with our child protection policy. It also creates a good learning environment for the children. The parent or guardian of the child is however welcome to stay during the first session for parent peace of mind.
Loose clothing is advised to wear as well as trainers/ flat shoes.
I started with RSD in their recreational class at Llantrisant when I was 6, I am now almost 21. Within this time I have received endless encouragement and dedication from all of the coaches at RSD. The coaches are amazing, and the facilities are just as good! In 2015, myself and my team mates placed 10th in the World at the Worlds Dance Competition in Florida. This would not have been possible without the passion that Pam and Emma have for Dancing and the commitment which they show towards all of their dancers.
I would highly recommend RSD to anyone looking to start Dance, Cheer or Gymnastics, whether its just for fun or to achieve world titles! This has definitely been the best decision I have ever made!
